The Pub That Wasn’t There

We went to The Red Lion in Wexham for dinner tonight, on the way home from dropping the children back at school. Here is an excerpt from the blurb on their website:

“The Red Lion at Stoke Green is reputed to have been an inn or public drinking house for over 400 years and was formerly part of the estate belonging to the Howard-Vyse family of Stoke Place. For centuries it has been integral to the culture of Stoke Green, and is now set to reclaim its crown.”

Why then, does my SatNav not know of its existence?
