Wildlife By The Pool

What began as a lazy couple of hours by the Embassy pool yesterday turned into a bit of a photo project. It was the birdsong that first distracted me — there seemed to be birds everywhere. There are plenty of lizards too, although they’re so well camouflaged usually that you only notice them when they move. Combine the real wildlife with the numerous handpainted lizard ornaments around the pool area and you have the perfect subject for a little photo shoot with my new lens: the AF-S Nikkor 55-200mm f4.0-5.6 VR ED, so I nipped back to the house to get my camera.

"Rong Rens!" as Elliot would say
